Melt shortening in a large skillet. Add beef, onions, and garlic; cook and stir until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, cayenne, and 1 1/2 cups water. Cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Blend flour and 1/4 cup water and gradually stir into the mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for one minute. Serve over noodles.
This goulash recipe will serve 6 to 8 people.
Cook spaghetti and drain. Saute meat, onion, and garlic in butter. Add tomatoes and spaghetti. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with garlic toast.
This goulash recipe will serve six.
Season meat with salt and pepper, garlic if desired. Brown meat in a large skillet. Add tomatoes and onion, and cut into large pieces. Add a small amount of water. Cook for 2 - 3 hours. Add water as needed. Watch carefully so it does not stick and burn. 10 minutes before serving, mix the gravy mix with 1 cup of water and add to the meat sauce. Let simmer until ready to serve.
Cook noodles and drain. Serve meat and noodles in separate bowls.
This goulash recipe will serve 4 - 5.
Cook noodles according to instructions. While noodles cook, cook and stir ground beef and onion in a large skillet until the meat is brown and the onion is tender. Drain off fat.
Stir in drained noodles, celery, catsup, mushrooms, tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
This goulash recipe will serve 4.
Cut beef into cubes. Melt butter in a saucepan. Saute onions until golden. Stir in paprika. Add bouillon cubes, water, salt, caraway seeds, and beef. Cover, simmer over low heat approx. 45 minutes. Add carrots, and cook for 15 minutes or until meat and carrots are tender. Combine milk and flour. Stir into meat mixture. Cook over medium heat until thickened and comes to a boil.
